iTunes U Link Building Block

If you do not have an Online@UT course or prefer not to access iTunes U through your Online@UT course, then you may skip this page.

Below is a "quick guide" on how to create an entry point that takes your students directly to the UTK on iTunes U course area from within your Online@UT course. This process requires two steps. First, you must request activation of an iTunes U course area and second, you must create an iTunes U link within your Online@UT course.

1. To request a UTK on iTunes U course area:

• Go to course Control Panel
• Click on iTunes U under "Course Tools"
• Click "Submit" to request activation

This request may take up to two (2) working days for activation to be completed. You will receive an email when it is done and may proceed to the next step.

2. To create the iTunes U link:

• From within your Online@UT course, click on any content area (Course documents, Assignments, etc) where you want the iTunes U Link to be
• Click on "EDIT VIEW"
• Select iTunes U from the drop-down menu at top right
• Fill out the iTunes U Link Information fields
• Click "OK"
