Welcome to our new, self-paced tutorials. We want to help you become comfortable and effective with the more complex Blackboard features.Are you ready to incorporate online assessment into your course site?
Assessment is a critical component of the educational experience. Blackboard's assessment tools offer instructors many opportunities to engage their students and assess their mastery of content.
This workshop will offer you strategies, examples of best practice, and the skills you need to use the assessment tool well to enhance student learning.
Objectives
As a result of taking this workshop, you will be able to: Identify tools within Online@UT for testing, grading, and general assessment:- Test Manager
- Question Types
- Pool Manager
- Online Gradebook
Use the tools identified above to:
- Create a quiz in the Test Manager
- Use a Quiz Generator to convert questions into pools
- Deploy tests effectively within content areas
- Utilize the Pool Manager to add flexibility to your assessment strategies
- Import and export grades into Excel for data analysis
