Technology As Lever For ChangeDr. Stan GuffeyLecturer Division of Biology College of Arts and Sciences |
When one sits down to chat with Dr. Stan Guffey about Biology, it doesn't take long to understand his passion for his discipline, and his passion for teaching. While Dr. Guffey teaches any number of courses in the Division of Biology, he spends much of his classroom time teaching the Biology 101-102 course sequence. Biology 101-102 serves approximately 1,100 students per year, and is most commonly taken by non-science majors in fulfillment of the science requirement common to all colleges at the University. With the blessings of the Division and the support of the Innovative Technology Center, Dr. Guffey has contributed to an ongoing evolution in the introductory sequence.
