Best Deal of the Decade!

ITC’s Summer Podcasting Project: you provide the content,
we do the development work!

If you are interested in instructional or research uses of podcasting, please accept this invitation to work with us this summer.

We will be working in groups and individually with faculty and instructional support staff to develop a minimum of four (4) podcast episodes per participating faculty member. If you will be teaching a course or conducting research in the Fall 06 semester that would benefit from content distributed via audio, enhanced, or video podcasting, please contact us for additional information.

You provide the content; the Innovative Technology Center will provide all the necessary equipment (iBooks with required software, digital still cameras, digital video cameras, iPods with microphones) for gathering, editing, and distributing your podcast episodes. In addition, we record and edit the audio, digital photos, and video; turn it into a podcast episode; and post it to a Web server for you!

For those who prefer to do it themselves, we can also provide training and a limited amount of hardware and software for you to use while you develop your own podcasts. Naturally if you have your own hardware and software that you prefer to use, we’ll work with you on that as well.
Please reply by Friday, May 12 to let us know if you are interested in participating. If you have questions, please contact Michael Burke (mburke@utk.edu or 974-8893) or
Joan Thomas (jnthomas@utk.edu or 974-7946).
