About ITC
Students and faculty are getting STARTed in January 2004!

for Research and Teaching (START) Program is an elite group
of students, selected and trained by the Innovative Technology
Center. Under the leadership of the START Program Coordinator,
this group of students will be prepared to assist faculty with
the creation of computer-based course materials and provide
faculty with technical support to enhance courses taught on
the Knoxville campus.
Examples of materials that students can help you with include:
- PowerPoint presentations
- Online@UT (Blackboard) course sites
- Web-based tutorials and resources
- Digital audio, video and/or images
- Instructional PDFs
- Electronic documents that are fully accessible to those with disabilities
This service is scheduled to begin March 1, 2004.
Faculty and instructors are encouraged to submit requests at
any time, as requests will be reviewed on an ongoing basis.
To submit a request for assistance, please send an email to start@itc.utk.edu that
includes the following information:

8. Times you are available to meet during Spring 04
