Fall GTA@itc!

Call for Proposals

The ITC sponsors the GTA@itc! Grant Program to encourage Graduate Teaching Assistants to incorporate technology into their teaching. In this program, participants receive mentoring from ITC graduate assistants and staff to accomplish their goals for technology use. Each Fall and Spring semester, the ITC invites Graduate Teaching Associates and Assistants (GTAs) with sole responsibility for teaching a course to submit a proposal for the GTA@itc! Grant.

In addition to mentoring, grant recipients receive a monetary incentive of $500 to purchase software, attend a professional conference, prepare a professional presentation or publication about integrating technology into a course, or use as a stipend.

Our next call for proposals will be posted on the ITC’s Web site in November. Visit the ITC Grants page to read more about the GTA@itc! Program.

Faculty First Grant
CFP will be posted December 2007

Have a great idea for one of your courses but don’t have the time to implement it? The ITC invites applications from individual faculty members interested in receiving design and development assistance to inject technology into your instruction.

The primary focus of the Faculty First Program is development and technical assistance. You offer the ideas and serve as subject matter expert, and ITC staff will do the development for you, incorporating the appropriate technology into your course.

We are especially interested in proposals that address the goals of the University’s Ready For The World program. Our next call for proposals will be posted on the ITC’s Web site in December. Visit the ITC Grants page to read more about the Faculty First Program.
